You Who Save Me

Often the persecutor is not outside us, but within us. This song — this plea — leads us to examine our own demons, name them, bring them to God, and ask God to free us from them. And God does so.
This setting of Psalm 7 would be most effectively used during celebrations with themes of peace or forgiveness, or themes that invoke God’s protection and mercy. In particular, consider this piece for use during reconciliation, Lent, or as a song of thanksgiving and praise.
