William Gokelman and David Kauffman’s composition Mass of Renewal was selected by a panel of five independent judges, from over 150 entries, and voted on by all 2000+ NPM members, as the first place winner of a New Mass Setting competition sponsored by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM), at the National Convention in Detroit, MI in July 2010.
Since that time, over 5,000 parishes have adopted their Mass of Renewal in the United States alone.
